Küçük kız çiçekleri kokluyor. Birinci cümlede “smell” soyut bir eylemdir. Çiçekler kokma eylemini fiziksel ve görülebilir bir şekilde yapmazlar. Bu bir durumdur. İkinci cümlede ise “smell” fiili aktif bir anlamdadır. Küçük kızın bu koklama eylemini fiziksel olarak yapması görülüp, başkalarına da gösterilebilir. You're playing computer games too much. 4- Annoying Habits Another use is for habits that are not regular, but that happen very often. We usually use an adverb like 'always', 'forever' or 'constantly' for this kind of use. We use the present continuous in this way to talk about an annoying habit. You're forever losing your books!
